Anatolian and the Balkans music...

This project brings these different musics together in a single album; it preserves their original styles while presenting them from a fresh viewpoint, in novel arrangements. In it, we witness the new musical flavors that can emerge when musicians, masters of their instruments and well acquainted with their musical traditions, come together with all of their different styles. As the contrasting timbres of the different instruments overlap, our ears are greeted with the most unexpected of musical blends.

Full of surprises, it's an enthusiastic musical gathering of some of Istanbul's greatest musicians, a broad palette of sounds of the Balkans and Anatolia created by an astounding variety of instruments.
